I consider every morning I wake up to be a miralce but that’s over 10,926 mornings (way more than 3 lol) 1. Survivng and thriving a tragic car accident that occurred in 1994 (almost 28 years ago). My pelvis was broken in 4 places, my right leg was paralyzed, left leg partially paralyzed, and mutilpe organs ruptured in the initial accident. Because of the organ reconstructions when I was 2, as I grew throughout the years I had to have surguries to help my body to better adjust to growth. 2. My mother, a professional singer and speaker, survived Covid 19 twice and didn’t lose her voice or the faculty of her senses. 3. Graduating College with a BS in Management was a major miracle. I was able to live on my own, drive on my own, and inspite of all of the hardships I faced in my 5 years on campus, I was still able to walk across that stage for me and my mother! Back in April of 1994, when the car accident happened, she was supposed to start college that Monday but instead of going to school she stayed by my hospital bedside for 18months straight. She then spent the next years of her life working to provide for me (a differently Abled/WellAble individual) as a single parent. Having the opportunity to walk across the stage was a testimony of how amazing she was as a mother. Now that I think about it… 4. My mother is my real testimony. I wouldn‘t exist without her but I definitely wouldn’t be a fraction of who I am today if she had not lived and incredible example to follow. She taught me how/where to find God, the importance of staying aligned with God, how to pray, she showed me how to love people God’s way, how to give freely, how to please and trust God, to never give up in the face of adversity, how to give my best no matter what, and how to live life to the fullest because every day I wake up it’s a miracle.
